I think this edition has included the recent classifications of Hematological diseases. Moreover it includes updated information of almost all the topics. A good handbook for a fellow, practising Physican in Adult Hematology. I recommend this book.
Clinical Hematology is a small book which provides a surprising large amount of the most important and up to date information I am looking for. It is very helpful to have such pertinent and trust-worthy information at my fingertips. Epidemiology, clinical presentation, staging, prognostics, statistics and treatment presented in a well organized and concise manner. I reach for this volume (and its companion The Bethesda Handbook of Clinical Oncology) often.
My staff physician on heme/onc rotation loaned me this book. It spoke hematology in my language. Wish I would have had it back in med school--hematology wouldn't have been so intimidating. The section on hemoglobinopathies was especially helpful
this is my first kindle book on professional subject. The book itself is good. However, the kindle format makes all tables and figures unreadable. So it's a waste of money. It will be great if amazon let's have a copy (may be pdf form) of unreadable tables and figures. Otherwise, kindle format is entirely not recommended. Buy the paper book.
I am using this book to cram for hematology review. It offers a good basic survey and have many clinical relevant diagnostic, treatment and follow up information. It is fairly dense and up to date. Recommend highly.

Excellent resource for my clin lab diagnosis class. This text and Fishbach really helped me understand the pathophysiology behind a CBC.
