This is my go-to gift for graduates. I've bought six of them so far. Hopefully, this slim volume will make them all want to read more Vonnegut!
This is a good read for people who take seriously and reflectively their responsibility as citizens of a nation, of a community, and even, as a church.
What a wonderfully wise book by a wonderfully wise man. Here is displayed a life well lived by a man talented enough to share it with a dash of humor. I only wish that I could have met him.

It is what you think it's gonna be. A lot of the speeches are really similar, just like all graduation speeches tend to be. It's definitely not a book you should read cover to cover, but I found it enjoyable nonetheless.
Great book, yi would highly recommend it - it talks about very important and serious life issues in a very lighthearted way.
Vonnegut makes good simple sense out of some of life's complications.
